The Davis
Guitar Works WB guitar is an homage to
the classic lines of Fender and Mosrite
guitars, as well as such contemporary
guitars as those by Paul Reed Smith, but
with a style all its own. The featured
guitar, owned by a collector of custom
guitars in New York City, has a
highly-figured quilted maple top over a
Honduran mahogany body. The neck is
three-ply, two of which are mahogany to
match the body, with a center accent
strip of curly maple. The electronics
are three Fender® Custom Shop
single-coils controlled by a single
volume / tone pots and a three-way
switch.
